BetterUnite's Membership Management module takes the work out of creating and setting up your membership program and automates your recurring payment processing.
You can manage your membership-related functions and settings in the Membership Center (Contacts > Membership). On the Overview page, you can see a graphic view of Actual and Forecast revenue from your overall membership program, as well as other relevant metrics.
You can create Membership Plans that define the amount, frequency, and duration of recurring payments when someone subscribes to the plan. For further details on Membership Plans refer to the help article Membership: Plans
You can provide access to these plans by creating Membership Sign-up Pages and inviting or providing access to potential members to this page. For more details on Membership Sign Up Pages, refer to the help article Membership - Sign Up Pages
When someone agrees to purchase a membership plan by signing up and providing their payment information, they become a Subscriber to that membership plan, and a subscription record is created for that member/contact. Refer to the help article below for more details on Subscriptions.
You can manage the subscriptions and subscribers to your organization on the Membership Management page under the Subscriptions tab. Once a subscription record is created, it is updated as payments are processed on a recurring basis. In addition, the subscription record and the status for each subscription are visible on the member's contact record.
The Membership Center page also displays a tab that shows all the Successful, Scheduled, and Failed payments and invoice information. You can filter this page by contact, membership plan, and dates. To begin attracting subscribers, on the Fundraisers page of BetterUnite, click Start and select Membership Sign-up Page. You will create a branded page here and associate the membership plans you established with Offers that are visible to your donors. The same campaign functionality is available on the Membership Sign-up Page as is on other campaign or event options. As mentioned above, you can also create new Membership sign-up pages on the Membership Center.
Membership Center also provides Setting Options. Within these setting options, you can modify the Member Notifications to allow Members to update contact information on the member portal.
